Celebrating Five Years of Henrock

Henrock, our internationally-inspired restaurant at Linthwaite House, turns five this October!

To honour this milestone, we will be serving a special tasting menu exclusively for dinner from Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th October.

From "Cartmel Valley Venison, blackened apple tart, and begonia" to "Our quail and kales with pickled walnut and chicory Mirabelle", the nine-course tasting menu draws inspiration from the traditional symbol of a fifth anniversary—wood, utilising local produce from the beautiful woodlands that surround us and from Our Farm.

If your travelling from further afield, we've created a special birthday package with Linthwaite House, so that you can stay the night in one of their comfortable rooms. The package includes a stay at Linthwaite House, a welcome drink on arrival, a locally made gift and our anniversary tasting menu.

Our 5th birthday is a time for us to reflect on the successes we've had over the years, including proudly earning our Michelin Plate in 2021 and attaining three AA rosettes in 2022. Since the beginning, our farm-to-fork ethos has been central to our philosophy, blending together international inspiration from our restaurants overseas with local, sustainable ingredients.
