Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi

On November 10th, The MICHELIN Guide presented the very first selection of restaurants in the capital of the United Arab Emirates at the luxurious Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. Simon was invited as one of five chefs to create a dish for the 5-course dinner under the theme of “L’Art de Vivre”.

The international chefs contributing to the menu included Bjorn Frantzen (Frantzen, Sweden), Cheryl Koh (Les Amis, Singapore), Jimmy Ophorst (Pru, Thailand), and Simon, alongside Lee Kok Hua, executive chef at Hakkasan Abu Dhabi.

Simon's chosen dish for the event was 'Lobster, Caviar and Kohlrabi.'

Congratulations to all of the restaurants that were awarded and made their debut in the MICHELIN Guide, and thank you MICHELIN for inviting Simon and the team to be a part of such a fantastic event.
