Ion Harbour by Simon Rogan is Malta's only 2 Michelin starred restaurant located in the stunning Iniala Harbour House Hotel overlooking Valetta's Grand Harbour. Our tasting menu is inspired by local seasonal produce and is constantly evolving, available for lunch and dinner. We are open Monday to Sunday for dinner and lunch on Fridays.

We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. Chef de Partie's will run specific stations within the kitchen, ensuring that the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency are always upheld. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities and a commitment to maintaining our stellar reputation for great food and service.

We are keen to hear from applicants with previous experience in similar quality establishments, a huge passion for cooking and quality ingredients and the ability to lead and inspire junior chefs.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Execute and oversee the preparation of dishes on the assigned kitchen station, following established recipes, techniques and quality standards.

- Collaborate with senior members of the kitchen team to develop new dishes, specials and seasonal menus.

- Contribute to ensuring ingredient quality, checking deliveries to ensure that ingredients are fresh, quantities are correct and that ingredients are properly stored and accessible to chefs.

- Assist in quality control by inspecting all dishes before they are served, ensuring they meet our standards of presentation and taste.

- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning, teamwork and excellence.
