Skof is Chef Tom Barnes' first restaurant opening in the beautiful Hannover building in Manchester's NOMA district. Since opening in May 2024, Skof has earned a Michelin Star, was named Best New Restaurant at the Good Food Guide Awards 2025, won Newcomer of the Year at the Manchester Food and Drink Awards - where Tom was also awarded Chef of the Year - and secured a high ranking in SquareMeal’s Top 100 for 2026, at number 2. ​

Our menus are based on incredible, world-class ingredients, skill, excellence and simplicity. We are open for Dinner on Wednesdays and then lunch and dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We are closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at the restaurant. As Chef de Partie, you’ll manage a designated section of the kitchen and ensure dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the wider team to maintain consistency, uphold food safety regulations, and support smooth service throughout the day. We are keen to hear from Chefs with a minimum of 3-years experience in quality establishments looking for an opportunity where they can learn and develop their careers further.
