*NEW* Set of Two Henrock Steak Knives by Ben Bodman
These steak knives have been designed especially for Henrock restaurant by Ben Bodman in conjunction with executive chef Paul Burgalières. They are made from 14C28N steel, a high-end stainless steel known for its toughness, corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening and fine grain structure. Paired with a full flat grind for thinness behind the edge it should make gliding through a juicy steak easy. The handles are hand shaped from Leadwood, an exceptionally dense and durable hardwood native to southern Africa and constructed in the traditional full tang and pin design.

Artisan Bio
From farming to being a chef, Ben doesn't think there has been many days in his adult life where he hasn't felt the solid grip of a knife in his hand.
After leaving catering college in Bath at 18, he spent 5 years as a chef in the French Alps, working between restaurants and private catering events, whilst returning to work on the family farm in the time in between.
During this time, after watching a video on YouTube, he built a coal forge out of an old 50 gallon oil drum with his brother. After giving it a go, he was hooked.
It was when he was a chef at L'Enclume, an old forge building itself, when he started to research and hone his craft, spending more of his free time making knives and buying equipment.
He now works from a specialist workshop on the family farm in Wiltshire where he splits his time between hand crafting knives, being a private chef and working on the farm.
